creating a Fellowship that could virtually exist anywhere. what the hell? i am continuing this siteless but concept-full project with surrealist cowhead imageries, addictions, and creepy religious contexts.
The idea of consumption is brought through in the project's emphasis on the human desire + sin + temptation. So to create a 'dreamscape' that transcends our idealist/puritan perceptions in reality, I will continue with my original craving booth idea that overwhelms our senses. I guess the most important thing for my installation is to 'make blood without blood'. To disturb in the most subtlest way possible...and that is why I think I can't just create an installation.
Perhaps I have to create a ritual instead, or a ceremony, or a new world that no one has seen before. To simply create a location for the 'people' is not enough; it's more interesting to create the 'location' with the masses. A Fellowship can exist anywhere you want -> as long as junk need exists, someone will service it. I have been re-reading William burrough's Naked Lunch. it is quite disturbing.
more to come!!
